She sang this song when she was in her 20’s. At that time, she was single, and this song was a huge hit because many young and single Japanese women’s empathized with it.

“Watashi ga Obasan ni Nattemo” when translated means “Will you keep loving me even as I am getting older?” In this song, she asks the man she loves some questions.
