Hello! I’m Naoko Matsumoto, founder of Traditional Japanese Matchmaker (TJM). I’m delighted to invite you to a special singles-only matchmaking BBQ event in Los Angeles this fall.

Los Angeles holds a very special place in my heart—it’s where I met my husband in the summer of 2005. Returning to this wonderful city to help others begin their love stories is truly meaningful to me.

A Unique Setting for Cross-Cultural Romance

This one-of-a-kind event will be held in the private Japanese-style garden of a happily married couple who met through TJM. The husband, deeply inspired by Japanese culture, created a beautiful oasis in their LA backyard that blends East and West.

It’s the perfect atmosphere to experience real omotenashi (Japanese hospitality), enjoy meaningful conversation, and take your first step toward an international marriage.

Special thanks to Victor and Yoshimi, our amazing TJM couple, for generously hosting this event in their home.

Eligibility & What to Bring

Who can join:

• Single men and women only
• Men who are sincerely considering marriage with a Japanese woman
• Japanese women seeking serious international relationships
• All ages welcome
• Casual attire is perfectly fine
• Photo ID is required for check-in (for identity verification)

Registration & Fee

Early Bird (by August 31): $125 per person
Regular (from September 1): $150 per person

🍉Your seat is confirmed only after payment. Once all seats are filled, registration will close.

🍉As it will take place at a private residence, detailed information about the venue will be provided individually to participants once their attendance is confirmed.

🍉The final confirmation, including venue details, will be sent by September 10, 2025. We kindly ask for your patience until then.
